VIGNA

Only the term “Vigna”

guarantees the origin of a single-vineyard wine

and is combined with the famed name of the vineyard parcel.

Barthenau Grappa

In producing this fine marc brandy we take the same pains in selecting grape skins as we do the Pinot Noir grapes from the our vineyard to make the wine of the same name, the “Vigna San Urbano” in the Barthenau estate. The marc is distilled using the traditional batch method. The care which goes into the distillation process, followed by a period of maturation in small oak casks, result in a grappa characterised by an elegant aroma, a smooth, velvety mouth-feel and impressive length.
