We classify our wines in three different categories: classic, selection, and single-vineyard wines. Our wines from Alto Adige are complemented by Rieslings from our Weingut Dr. Fischer on the Saar in Germany’s Mosel wine region.

Tenuta J. Hofstätter in Tramin
Our single-vineyard wines embody the unique style of the precisely demarcated vineyards in which they grow. The designation Vigna is an explicit guarantee of this specific origin. Our family first introduced the Vigna classification in Alto Adige in 1987.
These wines are vinified from meticulously selected grapes from vineyards with reduced yields. Each variety finds ideal conditions to grow and ripen in the vineyard selected for it.
Alto Adige has a long tradition as a wine region. Thanks to the diversity of vineyards, our classic wines develop superb varietal typicity.
Riesling finds the perfect terroir to evolve on the steep slopes on the banks of the Saar River in Germany’s Mosel wine region. This inspired us to become the first Italian vintner dedicated to this noble grape variety.
