Five generations of a winemaking family, exceptional vineyards on both sides of the Adige River in southern Alto Adige, a traditional winery in the heart of the historic wine village Tramin. Today our vineyard properties also extend into the mountains of neighbouring Trentino and to the steep slopes of the Saar in Germany’s Mosel wine region. We unite tradition, pioneering spirit, commitment to nature, and innovation.
Wines as versatile as our homeland.
We welcome our visitors to a remarkably beautiful location in the heart of Tramin.
Vineyards in the East & West
Ideal conditions for our wines
In Alto Adige, in Trentino, and on the Mosel
The diversity of our vineyards is shaped by the terroir in which our vines drive their roots. For generations, we have been committed to the demanding task of planting each grape variety exactly where it finds its most suitable growing conditions – a great challenge in the diverse microclimates of Alto Adige. Our vines grow at elevations ranging from 250 to 850 metres on both sides of the Adige Valley and in the mountains of southern Trentino. Steep vineyard sites in the Mosel region of Germany also belong to our estate for several years now. Caressed by cool mountain breezes or gentle southern winds, bathed in the morning or evening sun – our grape varieties ripen according to their preferences. Wines that that express the inimitable character and style of a precisely demarcated, exceptional vineyard site carry the classification term “Vigna” in their name.
